🐸🐸🐸 Natural biodynamic wine, no sulphite

It is a red wine with no added sulphites. 80% Barbera and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is soft, round and very fruity. very pleasant to drink, without however lacking in character. Note its intensity and color palette due to the absence of sulphites. Organoleptically very well balanced. It is pleasant young, but can age 4-5 years. 

Organic, biodynamic and sulphite free.

Produced and bottled by Castello di Tassarolo dei Marchesi Spinola Vineyard-estate, Tassarolo (Italy)

Production area:

selected hillsides in the Municipality of Tassarolo, located in the production region of Gavi DOCG, Piemont.

 Terroir:

marly, silty clay, with a good proportion of organic matter due to the use of "green manures", biodynamic preparations and biodynamic compost.

Altitude:

300 meters above sea level.

Grape varieties:

20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 80% Barbera.

Production techniques and vinification

To obtain this wine, characterized by the complete absence of sulfur dioxide added in any form whatsoever, the blending of Cabernet with Barbera proved to be of fundamental importance. In addition to giving a complex sensation to the nose and making the taste rich and persistent, it gives the wine, which has a clear but non-invasive tannic component, a structure capable of preserving itself without the need for foreign preservatives. A precise and continuous assistance of the production process in all its phases completes the work of Nature wine. It is a 100% handmade wine.

Aspect:

Ruby red color tending to purple with slightly accentuated garnet reflections.

Nose:
full, accessible, heady, ethereal, with aromas of cherries and wild berries.

Mouth:
warm, sweet with a spicy finish.

Yeasts:
indigenous, from our own grape varieties.

Alcohol:

13 - 13.5% by Vol.

Total acidity:

about 5.50 g / l
