Located south of Modena, halfway between Parma and Bologna. The estate is the opposite of what is usually found in these intensively farmed plains. The farm saw its first vines planted in the 90s. Currently made up of 5 hectares of wheat and 8 hectares of vines, the farm benefits from the help of the donkeys Esen and Olaf who have contributed to the management of the domain in biodynamics since 2003. All of the estate's wines are fermented using indigenous yeasts with the aim of being as close as possible to the natural wines of the ancestors. If the wines are protected by sulphite when bottling, it is at very moderate doses, from 18 to 40 mg / l depending on the vintage. The soil is mainly clay.
